Parents as Leaders Parents are a vital member of every IEP team, and as primary caregivers and advocates for their students, parents should be armed with all the information to make the best decisions possible. Charles R. Drew Middle School aims to help parents make those informed decisions through the Special Education Parent Workshop Series. The series consists of several presentations throughout the year. The goal is to provide parents with up-to-date and useful information and resources on relevant topics in Special Education.
