World History and Ethnic Studies

Hello there! My name is Mr. Sanderson, and I teach both Ethnic Studies and World History at Charles Drew Middle School. The 26/27 school year will be my SIXTH at Charles Drew Middle School and TENTH as an educator. 

In our classroom, students will be challenged to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and engage in discussions that encourage curiosity and respect for different perspectives. Through collaborative activities, primary source analysis, projects, and interactive lessons, students will build the skills they need to become thoughtful learners and informed citizens.

I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and capable of success. I believe that strong communication between school and home is an important part of student achievement, and I look forward to partnering with families throughout the year. Let's have a great year!
